What and where? This January, Stagiaires from both the EP and EC will be coming together with their
friends for the first ever SKI TRIP to Les Arcs 1800, not only one of the largest linked ski areas in the French Alps with over 400km of ski area in the Paradiski (The resort has epic piste, park and POWDER opportunities) but also Les Arcs 1800 is renowned for its lively après-ski and amazing nightlife!
Les Arcs is a ‘snow sure’ resort so we will be jet-setting off for 3 days of playing in the white-stuff!
Everyone is welcome on this trip! If you're a beginner, great, we have special deals on lessons to get you
started - for everyone, we have more great deals on ski hire should you need it! Also, bring friends/family - whoever you would like as trips to the Alps don't get cheaper than this!
When? I tried to find the most convenient week for everyone, unfortunately the weeks that we do
not work are the most expensive because of New Year's and half terms so I went for the next-best option - the first week of Jan, nothing much happens in Parliament this week so we are good to go! After establishing when the next problem was an inability to take 5 days off work so I have taken this on-board
and created a SHORT ski-break from the Tuesday 7th Jan - Saturday 11th Jan.
Cost? The base price of the trip will set you back just £299, - I understand that this is in pounds.
However, you can pay via VISA/Maestro/Mastercard etc so most banks will not charge you to do this.
This price includes:
- Your accommodation for 4 nights - we are in self-catered apartments of 5 people. We will all be in the
same building but in rooms of 5. Organising who's in what room comes later but you will be able to choose who you stay with!
- A 3-day lift pass (valid from Wed 8th - Fri 10th January) for Les Arcs (200km of piste) you can choose to
upgrade your lift-pass to the full area for 0/1/2/3 days - for example, as we are only there for three days my plan is that when in resort I will upgrade my lift pass for one day to explore the 225km of piste in La Plagne.- BESPOKE TRANSFERS from GENEVA AIRPORT - because we will be arriving late on the Tuesday night (after work for most therefore after normal transfers) I have negotiated our own transfers to and from Geneva airport and Les Arcs 1800 on Tuesday night and Saturday day.
- A NUCO wristband is included for you that gets us exclusive drinks-deals and entry to bars and clubs around the resort.
Also, there are also plenty of extras to choose from when booking goes live, such as lift-pass upgrades
ski/board and boot hire, insurance etc. These extras can be purchased in resort if wanted and therefore can be paid for in EURO if not bought on the website.
Once booked on to the trip the only thing you need to organise are flights/buses/trains from whatever
airport of your choice to GENEVA AIRPORT where our resort transfer will be waiting for us.
How? To book you just click on our booking link (at the end of this description) and follow the instructions. You will be asked to create an account - side note when you enter your Belgian phone number as it only has 10 digits put an extra 0 at the front - then you proceed to selecting all your options.
The important thing is that to reserve your place you only need to pay a deposit of£100 - the rest can be paid for later! Beds are reserved for us until the 10th November so to guarantee a place you must pay your deposit by this day! Bookings can be taken up until the end of November but beds may be more limited after the 10th.
The full cost of the trip must be paid by the 5th December.
Why? Everything apart from flights is organised by me so it is easy. Plus, it will be unbelievable
fun; an unforgettable experience of great snow, great people and good times! So spread the word!
