EPSA will host its second General Assembly on the 5th of June under the Spring Board 2013. Whereas during the last General Assembly the creation of several EPSA subcommittees breathed a new and fresh spirit into EPSA, this General Assembly will briefly review its latest activities. Even more importantly, we will start looking at EPSA's future!
Concretely, we will gather your opinions on the work of the organisation, and on what the organisation should stand for. What do you think of EPSA's work so far? What do you expect of the organisation?
This consultation will constitute the central building bloc for EPSA's first official statutes/internal rules, which are subsequently to be drafted over the month to come.
During our meeting, the President of the European Parliament, Mr Martin Schulz, will honour us with his presence, and will be available for a discussion.
Date: 5th of June 2013
Time: 15:45 - 17:00
Place: EP, Altiero Spinelli, A1E2
What: 2nd General Assembly, President Martin Schulz's visit
EPSA is going to launch a blog page on the EPSA website. Therefore we would like to ask for your contribution to the blog! Some of you already have a blog, some of you don't: this is your chance to share your ideas and thoughts with other stagiaires and the world.
The blog posts can be about anything: happenings in Brussels, a review of a restaurant, a cool event you have visited, a commentary about a political issue, coverage of an EPSA event, an interview: you name it. If you would like to send in a piece, please write to email@example.com. If you have any questions, do not hesitate to contact Mapke. Thanks and looking forward to your contributions!
EPSA's Discussion Group subcommittee is pleased to invite you to its inaugural conference on the 'Israeli/Palestinian conflict: is a two-state solution still possible?' this Friday 17th May at 16h00 in the ASP building, room A1E-2.
The panel of speakers will be as follows:
ONLY STAGIAIRES are allowed to attend (apart from those sitting on the panel), and so in order for this to be a success we would love for you all to be there! We have created a Facebook event for it, which can be found here. Please confirm your attendance via this page so we have an idea of how many we can expect.
Cheers, and see you on Friday,
Joel and Ola
